Organic Hive™the website is the product of many armchair hours reading, investigating, contemplating, and sure, hiking, biking and walking. Which is where this beekeeper does his best thinking and creating. Concepts were a result of trial and error following a basic set of precepts that hold to a more naturalistic and harmonic existence with the world around us.
Just call me an old(er) guy who's spent way too many hours behind the power tools. I like to invent crazy things and this just ended up being a home run, as far as I'm concerned. In fact, the reason I'm not putting my name up here is because I don't want a beehive named after me, just look at what happened to ol' Reverend Langstroth... How do you live that one down?
In the future I will write more about how I won a steak dinner for my entire family from a seasoned beekeeper who bet me my Organic Hive™ methods would never work!
